Robin LewisRaised in a family of jazz musicians, Robin grew up singing and playing music. Her roots are in soul music, however the lure of poetic language, story telling, and simplicity led her to folk music. The combination of soulful vocals and simple guitar fingerpicking create a soothing sound. She received an honorable mention in the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Competition, along with songwriters from all over the nation. Robin brings both a soul frequency with her electric guitar, and the Appalachian sound to CedarWing with her banjo.
